Bracelets Go On Suspected Car Burglar After Lights Go On In Victim’s Car In Walnut Creek

Police in Walnut Creek say an alert resident sensed something amiss this morning and spotted the cabin light on in their vehicle.

The light-sleeping resident dialed up police and officers contacted a man identified as Marcus Yingling, determining he was inside the car when he shouldn’t have been.

Police allegedly found the victim’s purse and a replica firearm in Yingling’s car. He was taken into custody and then off to jail.

There was no word on Yingling’s age or hometown.
