Emergency situations can make strange bedfellows of us humans and the maxim was proved today as two local tree trimmers joined forces with a San Ramon PD corporal as the clock ticked down for a cardiac arrest patient on E. Lakeshore Drive.
Apparently SRPD Corporal Schneider was responding to a medical emergency call involving a 50-year-old man who had passed out at a home in that area, arriving to find Bryan Waters and Alberto Ramon-Garcia of Bartlett Tree Experts already in action – giving the victim cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Schneider pulled out the portable defibrillator available these days and used the device to bring their patient back.
San Ramon PD called the trio’s response an “outstanding team effort” and we’ll go with that, but someone should be buying these three guys a beer in the near future.
Nice save, men.
Pretty cool. I know CPR but have never had to use it.
Good work!!!! I may have them do some work at our place just in case
Not surprised to hear the Corporal Schneider was involved in that save. Another one of San Ramon PD finest!
