Hazardous air conditions appear to be with us for a while until our grasslands stop burning and those offshore winds crank up again.
Local hardware stores report a rush on for masks, respirators, and window sealant as our neighbors search for ways to protect themselves from this nasty air.
It’s bad, though we cannot moan too much, knowing neighbors in Butte County – where much of this smoke originated – are faring much worse right now.
The smoke is bad, but my concern is for the residents in the Paradise area, and those with breathing issues. The rest of us will be just fine…
