We have joked with friends who live there that it may be time to turn down their stereo systems after the earth continues to shake in the latest of a recent flurry of smallish temblors to rumble through the San Ramon Valley.
A cluster of four minor shakers were recorded in the wee hours this morning, the largest of which measured a respectable 3.0 magnitude recorded at 4:25 a.m.
Neighbors living along Green Valley Road have been joking – sort of – about being California’s latest ocean-front property as the flurry continues in their area, the jolts usually nothing stronger than those created by a passing Sleep Train van – sometimes a little sharper.
If you live in the area and have any thoughts – or jokes – about what it’s like to live in California’s hottest seismic zone, let us know.
I don’t react to anything under 4 0. I’m from California!!
@AMorro – We understand completely.
From what I understand several of those people living in Diablo have been fracking recently.
I use to think it was earthquake weather when it was unseasonably hot. Now I have to change that to when its unseasonably cold. It was in the 20’s this morning resulting in 4 mini quakes. Plus another 2 tonight.
Haven’t felt a thing! But I’m in the car most of the time!
