Two burglaries were reported in Alamo over the weekend and sheriff’s investigators say the two break-ins may be related.
Sheriff’s Office spokesman Jimmy Lee said a deputy responded to a report of a burglary on Corwin Drive in Alamo at about 10:23 a.m. on Sunday. Investigators believe the break-in occurred sometime during the weekend. The homeowner discovered he had been burglarized upon his return home.
In a possibly related incident, another resident reported a suspicious circumstance on Los Alamos Court at about 4:16 p.m. Sunday – telling dispatchers he saw his neighbor’s front door standing open.
Deputies responded and discovered that the residence had also been burglarized.
