DANVILLE, Calif. (January 15, 2025): The Town of Danville announces Innovate to Elevate, a new art exhibition celebrating the creativity and innovation of students from the San Ramon Valley Unified School District (SRVUSD). From intricate paintings and detailed drawings to sculptures, Innovate to Elevate exemplifies the district’s commitment to fostering artistic expression among its students. This showcase will open at the Village Theatre Art Gallery January 30 and will run through March 28.
An opening reception will take place Thursday, January 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Village Theatre Art Gallery. Free and open to the public, this event offers a chance to meet the artists and explore their works firsthand. Light refreshments will be served.
The Village Theatre & Art Gallery building dates back to 1913 and has been part of the community since its start as the Grange Hall. The building hosts quarterly art exhibitions and numerous live performances annually. The Art Gallery is open Monday to Tuesday by appointment only, Wednesday to Friday from noon to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
