Sun Stories: Full Moon Festival with Andy Nguyen
11:00 am – 3:00 pm
“Sun Stories: Full Moon Festival” is a creative and culturally enriching art workshop that invites children and their families to collaboratively create cyanotype prints—sunlight-based photographic artwork—to honor the themes of the Mid-Autumn Festival and shared memories.
Using UV-sensitive cyanotype paper, participants will arrange natural materials (leaves, flowers, meaningful objects) and personal or symbolic imagery (transparencies or hand-drawn illustrations) to craft visual stories. These compositions are then exposed to sunlight and rinsed to reveal striking blue-toned prints that participants can take home as keepsakes.
