Pedestrian Killed In Meadow Lane Collision Friday
A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed on Meadow Lane near Monument Boulevard in Concord on Friday – possibly while attempting to cross the road.
The unidentified victim was reported down and unresponsive at approximately 8pm, police closing down the area for several hours to conduct their investigation.
No details were available as to the circumstances leading up to the collision or whether the responsible vehicle was identified and remained on scene or not.

My mom and I witnessed it. It was a Hispanic man jaywalking as a lot of people on monument do. His face was covered in blood as the medics were trying to revive him. We turned around again 10 minutes later and he was in a body bag. Truly unfortunate
Hi, yes, we were able to gather that much and a little more from the scene that night. Looking for an official version of the tragedy but, so far, no one has confirmed that it happened.

You express sympathy, but your long history of posting which relishes arrest beat-downs suggests that you are divorced from it. Just post as yourself.
I once had to mash on my breaks to avoid hitting some crazy guy that was running across the street on Meadow Lane.
