Residents Celebrate Rainfall – Transformers Blow, Intersections Darken, Crashes Reported

With good there must come some bad, right? That’s what they drilled into us at any rate. With the arrival of this blessed rainfall we have been holding out for comes some associated – challenges – as transformers give up, neighborhoods go black and the fire department starts hearing from folks trapped in elevators.

Traffic signals are out at major intersections in Pleasant Hill and Concord with the police dashing in to remind folks how to drive by placing Old School signage before Mob Rule prevailed.

Crashes up and down the 24/680 and PG&E is promising service will be restored by noon.

Getting great pictures of stunned domestic animals unsure of how to behave in this rain and we human-types, who should know better, are also coming unglued in some areas.

    First heavy rain and the power goes out. Should be a really fun winter.

        House and office power was out at the same time. This was in P Hill.
