“EV FoamDown…”
Bit of trouble at the EV charging station on Tice Valley Boulevard today and, yes, the 24/680 Guy was on scene.
He’s still laughing over the nice lady in the sun hat who flipped him off as he passed her trying to get to the blaze, but there you go. All in a days’ work.
Two cars burned, one with minor damage. No Tesla involvement. HazMat scene declared due to presence of toxic chemicals. Firefighters grateful it isn’t as hot today as yesterday. No injuries.

Happy to hear that bodily injury of any sort did not arise out of incident. I am a bit bemused as to what warranted your on the scene photo journalist to receive the “single digit salute” from the nice lady (your term). Clearly your “guy” did not require her imprimatur to do his job. Onward we go.
Hey, Jeff, it was just kind of – unexpected. Diminutive person, nice sun hat, our guy scurrying a little and overtaking our neighbor only to have her fire off a spirited single digit salute as he passed!
How did it start?
“No, no, no, that one, the (one) with the fire in her eyes!”…how old would Major Houlihan be?
And, yes, only in retro-America would I quote that. Sophomoric and not proud.
Pretty intense fire there for a minute and hard to put out. Good work by firefighters.
