  1. Very sad! I don’t know the details of this accident, but road debris is a huge danger to motorcyclist especially at night. Please, if you ever see debris in a roadway call 911 and report a traffic hazard, they will send an officer out to remove it.

  2. So sad. I ride 242 every day and it is the worst freeway even in the best conditions. Seams between lanes, potholes, cracks, tar snakes, dips- and that’s not even taking into account all the debris and drivers who swim through traffic. It’s hard to navigate in the day and downright treacherous at night. Condolences sent to the rider’s family.

  3. 242 almost killed us so many times bent two front wheels and blown out my forks two many times to count we bikers need to unite and get that deaths highway fixed right like it should of been done taxes need to be spent on the roads not on city council members or committees looking into the cost one human life is worth more than they can embezzle

  4. Condolences to the family and may you find the strength during such a difficult time. That highway is definitely one of the worst in the Bay Area. 21 years ago I was involved in a really terrible rollover on hwy 4
Please everyone be careful and aware of your surroundings at all times on the road.

  5. I came across an accident while riding my 2024 R1 to work. That road is really sketchy, with uneven surfaces between lanes and deep grooves. I saw a group of CHP officers standing over the body… my condolences to the family.

  6. The horrible condition of our roads are literally killing people. Lack of proper maintenance plus the accumulation of trash and debris are responsible for financial loss, injuries, and death. We can do better.
