A KIA caught fire and burned on the eastbound Highway 24 overpass to Mount Diablo Road just before 10 p.m. Wednesday, the resultant fireball drawing one of our photographers and, within minutes, a small crowd unused to seeing such things in Lafayette.
The car’s occupant made it out before things got hot but the KIA was a total loss.

You have to wonder if the car company did any market research in America before naming the car KIA.
Suburban Life for 400, Alex.

Uh, what is Fireball?, Alex.
In Lafayette it’s a tossup between watching the latest fireball on 24 or the Roundup soooo…..
We miss the old R-Up… do they still have Sweet Emotion on the juke?
