Missing Danville Boy Located In Blackhawk Sunday
Alex Duarte, an autistic local boy and object of a widespread air and ground search, was spotted by a resident in a culvert not far from her home in Blackhawk Sunday – rescuers and relatives racing to the scene.
The child, apparently unharmed but dirty from his travels, was reunited with his family at approximately 9 a.m., medics providing a precautionary medical examination at the scene.
Alex apparently made it to a scrubby, poison oak-filled creek bed at the end of Kingswood Lane in Blackhawk, a resident notifying officials when she spotted him Sunday morning.
