Police Activity In Walnut Creek/Alamo Thursday; One Detained
Sheriff’s deputies assess one half of a suspected burglary team who ran from them earlier this afternoon. This man was eventually cornered in a church parking lot in Walnut Creek and was taken to a local hospital for observation. His alleged partner was reportedly spotted in Alamo and police are following up leads there.

The contra costa sherrif dept is awsome. This guy and another broke into my shop in baypoint. I observed them doing the crime on camera and relayed the info to the sherriff in real time and they got on of the suspects and recovered not just my stollen equipment but also many other people’s belongings. Crime is getting out of hand my shopping has been hit 3 times in past 6 weeks. Again great job guys. I really appreciate the fast and professional response.
