Stubborn Vehicle Fire Tests Firefighters In Walnut Creek Friday

Bit of a field problem for firefighters in Walnut Creek Friday night as a cleaning truck caught fire and burned stubbornly at Oakland Boulevard and Ygnacio Valley just before 10 p.m.

We’re not sure what was in that truck but it did not want to go out. Firefighters beat down several re-kindles and eventually won out.
