Aggressive Crew Robs San Ramon Optometry Clinic Friday
A five-man crew of thieves, preliminarily described as black males wearing masks and hoodies and carrying metal tools, swept into the Optical Illusions optometry clinic at 6000 Bollinger Canyon Road and made off with an unspecified amount of prescription eyeglasses Friday.
The theft was reported at approximately 1:17pm. There were no reported injuries though staff apparently grappled with members of the group as they left the store.
The group was last seen getting into a dark, possibly black Acura ILX, last observed speeding off in direction of Interstate 680.

Why does your kid hang out at an optometry clinic? Maybe he should try a library instead
KG, it’s in the city center. Obviously the kids aren’t hanging out at the optometrist but it’s in the general area.
city center has a movie theater and several stores in it that cater to children. It has an open area in the center with things for kids to play on. A lot of families bring their kids there to play and middle schoolers and high school kids go there with their friends.
Wonder if they couldn’t see what they were doing. Accidentally robbed a Optometry Clinic by mistake.
