Bit of expectation in the air, perhaps a desire for finality and an indication of our future direction.

We’ll be posting events and results throughout the day.

Talk to us, America.

  1. Putting good vibes into the Universe for the country and the world. Calming my nerves with reggae music. Hoping we do the right thing on the big one, as well as pony up on the local ones. Would be nice to get back to a place of respect for one another’s views, which I admittedly struggle with at times. Thanks for keeping us in the loop!

  2. Whatever happened to the conventional wisdom that our two-party system drives both parties toward the middle?

My hypothesis: The Internet happened. Our news sources profit by herding us into separate silos of fear, shielding us from the half of the news we don’t want to hear. The more fear and anxiety they create, the more clicks they get. It’s not exactly fake news (most of the items are true), but it’s half-news (by omission). There is no market for full news.

This shows every sign of continuing to get worse. Do yourself a favor and take a vacation from the half-news. Get outside with a friend, and talk about anything but politics.

  3. Can’t wait for this national embarrassment to be over. I still don’t know how this happened to us in the first place. It said something about the national mentality.
