Two-Alarm Blaze Displaces Two Dozen People In Pleasant Hill Tuesday

A stubborn fire believed set off by contractors working on the building eventually grew to two-alarms before it was extinguished Tuesday, displacing a number of people who suddenly found themselves looking for new homes.

The fire was at the Viking Apartments at 2079 Norse Drive in Pleasant Hill. There were no reported injuries though 16 adults and 8 children were displaced by the blaze.
