The vanguard of a series of six micro homes built to serve homeless senior citizens arrived at Grace Presbyterian Church on Tice Valley Boulevard Tuesday, with plans for other structures to arrive and be set in place in the days ahead.

When completed, the tiny home structures and one office/laundry unit will be available to unsheltered elders. Each unit includes a kitchenette, bathroom and shower, bed and dining area. Underutilized property at the church was identified and earmarked for the project, which has been dubbed: “Hope Village.”

  2. It’s an OVER SIZE micro home.
