A bicyclist was killed by a car on Livorna Road under I680 on Monday, police and CHP officers sealing off the area for investigation.
The involved vehicle, described as a black Toyota SUV, remained on scene as the crash was reported at 11:12 a.m.
Investigators determined that a female cyclist traveling west on Livorna was struck when a Toyota parked along the right shoulder of the roadway pulled into traffic and collided with the bicyclist, CHP officials said.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name was not released. The driver of the Toyota was not injured.
