A bicyclist was killed by a car on Livorna Road under I680 on Monday, police and CHP officers sealing off the area for investigation.
The involved vehicle, described as a black Toyota SUV, remained on scene as the crash was reported at 11:12 a.m.
A witness reported seeing a rider down with apparent facial injuries in the area with emergency personnel performing life-saving measures upon their arrival moments later.
