Pleasant Hill police today announced the arrest of an Oakland man in connection with two separate robberies in their city in which a stun gun was allegedly brandished.
Toure A. Pierre (age not provided) was identified and arrested for his involvement in robberies at the DSW shoe store and Total Wine & More in Pleasant Hill, according to police.
Police said Pierre allegedly displayed a stun gun-type device and sparked it when confronted by employees who confronted him while he was stealing.
Police said investigators brought their case against Pierre to the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office and felony charges were filed – including two counts of second-degree robbery and criminal threats. Pierre Jr’s bail was set at $250,000.
Congratulations Pleasant Hill Police!
Good work!
Isn’t this the same guy that was stealing out of BevMo in Danville too, but sped away and the the police followed but had to stop once he reached Oakland city limits, because they’re not allowed to pursuit there?
Sound like he wanted to get arrested.
Stop these robbers at the Caldecott.
Nice work by PH PD.
