A Gorgeous New Morning In The 24/680
Morning is Breaking… and, it appears, things are subdued as the locals digest some national news that flashed across our wires Saturday and pulsed almost with a life of its own.
As contrary as it was to our instincts we opted – after a hurried conversation with staff – not to report on the incident, leaving that to, perhaps, more suitable national forums.
There were almost instantaneous repercussions, and a lot of questions we hope are answered in the immediate future.
For now, we’re settling for a mild, cool morning and keeping our antennae up.

Thank you for setting a milder tone! We all need to do that. I do blame the media for hyping up for 8 years now that Trump was equivalent to the devil. The media obviously was enjoying any perils in crises that could be thrown towards the ex-president. Now this last event is quite sobering and I hope it can bring us back to civility. But as much as everyone’s trying to blame ‘Maga people, for supposidly being the threat, the unhinged left seems to me to be the more threatening to our civilization and democracy.
Appreciate your decision but would remind you that TFG advocated just this sort of thing for Hillary:
