Second home? Apocalypse RV? Half of your children’s college tuition?

We don’t know, yet, as the person who purchased a ticket during a visit to the 76 gas station at 3500 Mt. Diablo Boulevard in Lafayette on Tuesday has yet to come forward.

Probably lining up a good lawyer and financial advisor.

Anyway, a tidy sum and congrats to the player – you beat some pretty incredible odds.

The $57 million jackpot went unclaimed the night of the draw. For those of you drawing inspiration from this person’s success, the next Mega Millions play is set for 8 p.m. Friday – with $140 million waiting for the right person to snag it.

For you mathematicians and oddsmakers out there, the chances of winning the Mega Millions jackpot hover at about 1 in 302,575,350.
