Thieves both male and female, some armed and brandishing guns, others demanding money by note, were busy attempting to rob or robbing banks, credit unions and individuals in Concord Saturday.
One woman robbed a credit union in the 2000 block of Diamond Boulevard of about $1,000 at approximately 1:50pm, escaping from the area on foot.
Another attempted to rob a Bank of America branch across from Todos Santos Plaza but left empty-handed.
Two armed men were more successful as they robbed an individual in his car in the 3400 block of Clayton Road, brandishing weapons and demanding cash just after 3 p.m.
2 hot for this
Is it just me or do women seem to have gotten into the bank robbing business?
Lately they do seem to be giving their male counterparts a run for their money – so to speak.
Good one.
