An armed robbery crew of seven to eight masked men entered and robbed a San Pablo jewelry store of $500,000 in jewels before escaping in newer model Dodge Charger vehicles Saturday.
Law enforcement was alerted to the theft at 4 p.m. Saturday. It was reported at the H Bee Jewelry store in the 400 block of San Pablo Towne Center.
The suspects were described only as black males, all masked and all carrying handguns. They reportedly entered the business through a back door, threatened the owners and passed the counter displays in favor of access to the store safe.
Yee haw! What should one expect?

Someone is doing their Christmas shopping early.
The bad guys are winning.
Not your usual pack of cigs and gum from 7-11.
Kinda makes you wonder if they knew what was in that safe.
Another solid exclusive from news24
A half million dollars worth of jewels stolen by an armed gang and only one site bothers to write anything about it.
This crime is reminiscent of the 2003 “direct to video” movie “Jack Movez” (filmed in the Bay area and free to watch on YouTube).
In the movie, a debt-ridden jeweler hires local thugs to rob his own store and thus collect the insurance money for the stolen jewels. The store owner adds to his profit when he sells the supposedly stolen jewels to a third party.
Certainly a known and considered scenario.
Good to see you’re still alive and kicking.
What’s happening here???
