From the Office of the District Attorney:
Martinez, Calif. – A former officer with the Pittsburg Police Department faces a four-count complaint for illegal assault weapon sales and the possession of illegal assault weapons.
The Contra Costa District Attorney’s Office filed charges today (Thursday, Nov. 10) against Armando Montalvo. Montalvo is charged with two counts of violating PC30600 for the manufacture, distribution, sale, or transport of an assault weapon. He also faces a two-count charge for violating PC30605 (the possession of assault weapons).
The first offenses occurred on November 13, 2019, and the second on November 16, 2019, in Contra Costa County. At the time, Montalvo was employed as a peace officer with the Pittsburg Police Department. He resigned from the Pittsburg Police Department on July 8, 2022. Currently, there’s a warrant issued for his arrest.
Judge Charles Burch set bail for Montalvo at $200,000
Hmmmm, wonder what he was up to? There are provisions in the PC for LEO’s (and retired) to own assault weapons and high capacity magazines.

In police reform news today, Vallejo police officer fired after 2 fatal shootings and $$$ civil damages moves along to Broadmoor CA police department.
Why, because those were probably good and legal shootings, just not politically correct.

Meh! Taxpayers paid millions for his bad judgment. He was fired for endangering fellow officers with his careless line of fire. So, there’s that.
But, he is fellow police so Atta Boy!
His family was paid because of our flawed citizens who might be on a jury. His tactics in one shooting may not have been the best………….but you wouldn’t know, you’ve never done it.

Jeff, I didn’t fire him. His boss fired him for endangering his fellows in blue.
