Fatal Crash In Concord Tuesday

As we reported last night (Tuesday, Nov. 1), a 79-year-old man was killed after losing control of his car at Oak Grove Road and Treat Boulevard and crashing.

The lone occupant of the vehicle was declared dead at the scene.

Witnesses reported hearing and then finding the crash on northbound Treat Boulevard at approximately 7:52 p.m. The road was closed for some time while police conducted their investigation into the cause of the crash.

Drugs or alcohol do not appear to have been a contributing factor in crash, police said.
