A motorcyclist died at Alhambra and Truitt avenues Saturday after apparently losing control of his Harley Davidson and colliding with a Jeep.
The unidentified rider was thrown from his bike at approximately 7:30 p.m., striking his head on the ground some distance away. Witnesses said he was wearing a small, “half helmet” at the time.
The driver of the Jeep stayed on scene, calling for assistance according to witnesses. Police arrived to seal off the intersection and conduct their investigation. The motorcyclist was declared deceased at the scene.

Yes, Jeff, we don’t understand the circumstances and hope more reporting/investigations happens. Someone had noted that the same bike had been taken in for repairs for “tire” issues recently.
