One Person Shot, Killed In Vallejo Friday

One person was shot and killed at Sonoma Boulevard near Nebraska Street at approximately 6:25 p.m. Friday, a firefighter a block away from the scene responding and rendering aid to the victim.

Police responded to the firefighter’s call for assistance and arrived to find him aiding a 23-year-old victim who was located at the scene, hit at least once and subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.

The deceased was not identified.
