One person was wounded by gunfire after a shooting on Hillsborough Court in Concord tonight.
The incident was first reported around 6:20 p.m. with bystanders thinking a man down with an apparent stomach wound had been injured in a fireworks mishap. Arriving officers confirmed the shooting and launched a search for the suspect.
Preliminary information was that the gunman was a white male, about 5′ 8″ tall with a mustache and neck tattoo. He was last seen wearing a white tank top and blue jeans.
There was no word on the condition of the wounded party.
Whenever you see someone with a neck tattoo, walk the other way. It’s NEVER anyone decent.
So people with neck tattoos are criminals?? Is that what you are implying? Judgmental don’t you think?
Most of the people I know with neck ink are cops. Just saying.

Funny I was going to make a sarcastic comment that “this is surprising for someone with a neck tattoo”.
But, Campo Cougar I think nailed it.
I’m sorry folks but neck tattoos are a definite prison badge of honor and most the time represent a very dangerous person. Say what you want to say but it’s true.
Mom’s been gone 17 years, but I was just thinkin’ today, now might be the time for that HEART MOM neck tattoo. I mean, if I’m going to deface myself, let it be for me Mum.
Sounds like Kyiv outside.
Some really impressive dumbassery out there tonight.
Yipppe ki yay……………….Never know when or where danger lurks in Central Contra Costa. 108RS
I personally don’t have any tattoos, but implying that anyone with tattoos is a bad person only shows total ignorance and stupidity of the one making such statements.
I once was wary of those with neck tattoos. Then I met a few of those folks, and then a few more, and it turned out they were pretty much like me, but with neck tattoos (I’m pretty decent by the way). Maybe 20 years ago a neck tat meant something, but nowadays its usually just someone’s personal expression. Now, the tat itself can have meaning either positive or negative or neutral, I grant you that.
Actually, I don’t think there are any official “prison” tattoos that’s located on the neck. Anyone can get anything tattooed on their neck without having to do anything or ask permission of anyone. It’s mind blowing just how often people make things up and start posting online as though they are facts. Worse more, using those made up “facts” as reason and justification to profile someone by.
