  1. Tri-Valley: “TRY IT! I dare you…”

Hopefully local hooligans start getting the memo that folks out this way don’t suffer fools, though I sure do “pity the foo” who doesn’t.

      • When did you glean otherwise, Deputy?

Since you brought it up, “pro-gun” is something of an overstatement. Firearms are tools designed primarily for the purpose of inflicting grievous bodily trauma to physically incapacitate large fauna. When the need for such incapacitation arises, firearms are an excellent tool compared to most practical alternatives.

Like any tool, however, firearms are prone to misuse as implements of criminal coercion or simple brutality.

It is difficult to fathom being categorically “pro” or “anti” such a tool. It really depends on the circumstances.

  2. Another missed opportunity to stop the bad guys. I’m curious, what does “able to carry” mean? Person had a concealed carry permit? Sure wish I could have one.

The victim, who was legally in possession of a firearm and able to carry, fired multiple rounds towards the suspects.

  3. Are these the same guys that tried to hijack a car from people in front of their home in Alamo last week?
You know I’m beginning to believe there’s probably 100 criminals in the Bay Area they’re doing all the crimes! They were let out of jail they know they won’t get back and they’re very emboldened! Folks! It’s time to start locking people up again! Doesn’t public safety count anymore?

  4. The powers that be around here predicted we’d get to this point with people getting tired of being targets and fighting back. Looks like we’re there.

  5. “Two vehicles in the parking lot were struck by bullets.” Vehicles or bystanders, it’s all the same to the stray bullets. The shooter was most likely not aiming to hit those vehicles, and yet.

    • David,

Shooting situations are high stress, even the best trained often miss and everyone hopes bystanders go uninjured. 108RS
