Automotive Assault On Lafayette Power Pole Darkens Big Chunk Of Lamorinda

Another craven assault on an unsuspecting power pole in Lafayette knocked out power to a healthy chunk of Lamorinda Friday. Thankfully, no humans were injured but that pole – at Crest and Middle roads – was definitely the worse for wear.

The crash was reported at 2:25 p.m. and PGE crews arrived in the area within minutes but lights were reported out at some intersections, businesses and homes.
