Smoky Grass Fire Burns Outside San Ramon Monday
A fire, possible sparked by a downed power line and driven by wind, has scorched approximately 90 acres of grassland near Highland and Camino Tassajara roads in Tassajara Monday.
The fire, battled by crews from throughout the 24/680, forced the closure of some roads but caused no apparent injuries as this is written (3:30 p.m.).
