So, How’s YOUR Day Going?

Everyone has those rotten days when The Fates stack up against us and things begin to cascade southward in spectacular fashion.

This poor sanitation worker was on his route and taking care of business in Walnut Creek today when his truck made contact with some low-hanging power lines and – poof – things were off to the races as the truck and its contents began to burn.

Con Fire crews and PG&E workers arrived to de-energize the lines so firefighters could do what they do but a discernible pall settled over Buena Vista Avenue and Parkside Drive for a bit until the air cleared. No injuries were reported.
