A man ejected from his truck and seriously injured in a crash on Highway 4 Monday morning later died of his injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers responded to reports of a crash in the westbound lanes of SR4 east of Mc Ewen Road at approximately 10:45 a.m. and found an overturned white Ford Ranger on its roof with its driver ejected into the middle lanes of traffic.
The unidentified driver was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Investigators said the Ford was driving westbound when it left the road and rolled off a center-divide embankment. The driver did not appear to have been wearing his seatbelt, officers reported.
There were no other reported injuries. Investigators blocked off at least one lane of traffic until all lanes reopened just before 12:25 p.m.
Another American exercising FREEDOM.
As are you, but maybe try a little kindness, this was someone’s son, maybe dad, husband, brother, friend
This was a choice, his choice, and it is symptomatic of a greater sickness. What about his thoughtlessness, his disregard for those he leaves behind. Maybe he was ok with that. I’m fine with pointing out the sad lesson in it.

A seatbelt would have saved his life.
