Two people died as a result of injuries suffered during an early-morning crash on Port Chicago Highway early Monday morning.
The crash was reported at around 1:45 a.m. when a car of undetermined type struck a light pole while traveling north on Port Chicago near High School Avenue.
The front passenger, an unidentified 51-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver, a 37-year-old man, was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of major injuries.
Investigators said the driver succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

My daughter was killed in the Oct 2 hwy 4 crash and the scumbag Sean Christensen was the driver and lived . he was driving on suspended license and was high on fentynol and is not in jail. WHY????? now he has another car driving more people around endangering our community. Hwy patrol needs to do more. Why let him go. My daughter was a wonderful person and im gonna fight for justice for holly Webster. 28 yrs old and my only child.
