One person was killed and three others injured in the latest in a string of fatal crashes to occur in Martinez and Concord in the past few hours.
Motorists reported a Honda traveling west on SR4 left the road and wrapped itself around a tree at high speed. First crews on the scene reported the fatality and worked to extricate the other three people reported injured inside.
The crash was reported at 6:27 p.m.
