Saying Goodbye To Stephen Yee – A Local Man And Loyal Friend
A sad day for us here at News24/680…
We’ve just learned of the passing of Orinda native and site pal Stephen Yee, a frequent contributor to our pages and welcome offline neighbor, who died of complications from COVID-19 yesterday, January 22.
We would like to extend our condolences to his daughter, Stephanie, and his many friends and family. Stephen was a loyal follower of this site, even when he left the area for the Midwest, and looked us up on his frequent trips back to the East Bay.
We enjoyed our lunches, frequent talks about life in Lamorinda, his wit, and the obvious care he held for others. We mourn with those who loved him…
A GoFundMe account has been established to help his family with funeral expenses.

Yes — it is touching more and more families now. So sad.
All I can see is the crazed face of a woman yelling at us that COVID is a hoax. This makes me so mad.
He was such a regular here. Peace and good wishes to his family…. RIP
