Alleged Mail Raiders Come Up Short In San Ramon Sunday

Pandemic or no pandemic the nocturnal antics continue as crews of various type and description visit the neighborhoods in search of whatever they can get.

One observant neighbor spotted four guys checking mailboxes near Ellingson Way in San Ramon Sunday and, suspicious, pitched a call to police – who responded forthwith.

Police stopped a car with the four aboard and determined that two were on probation for identity theft and another had an unspecified felony warrant.

Apparently the four had had some success prior to their meeting with police, officers seizing a number of items in the car at the time.
