Termed “a decent little shake” by local quake veterans, a sharp 3.8 Magnitude temblor rolled through the 24/680 Thursday, nearly throwing one perfectly sober journalist off his feet and sparking reaction from thousands.
The shaker, epicentered near Buchanan Field in Concord, rolled through the area at 11:18 a.m.
It got our attention.
I was in Concord at the time of temblor. I felt the pulse, looked up, checked USGS website and resumed the task at hand.
