Window-Washers Left Dangling Above Walnut Creek Friday

Firefighters responded to a call for help from two window washers in distress after their scaffolding equipment collapsed while on the job at 2121 N. California Blvd. this morning.

The rescue is initiated with a firefighter rappelling down to the worker, linking him to an independent harness and lowering him to the ground.

Both workers were left dangling by their safety harnesses and had to be rescued by firefighters. They were lowered to the ground shortly after their call for help was received at 6:45 a.m., treated at the scene and taken to a local hospital for evaluation.

How about the scumbag white supremacists that were dangling signs above the El Curtola overpass today? How does the city feel about paying to protect these deplorable individuals from the wrath of normal people? I drove by and gave them a piece of my mind, but noticed the patrol vehicle close by to make sure nobody hurts these trash bags. I donโ€™t remember any other presidential candidates that needed police protection but I understand why it is necessary.

What does this have to do with the two window washers? Off topic and baffling.
