Two victims were relieved of their phones by an armed man who emerged from a passing car, brandished a pistol and left with the phones at around 12:29 a.m.

The other suspect was described as an Asian female adult, possibly in her late 20’s, heavy set build, approximately 5’3” to 5’4” in height with short hair, wearing an orange shirt and gray sweat pants.
The car was described as a possibly purple and silver with shiny rims and tinted windows. The investigation into this incident is underway. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Orinda Police at (925) 646-2441 or orindatip@cityoforinda.org.
The vehicle was last seen heading out of town on Camino Pablo.
A description of the perps. Thank you.
I’m reading tall thin black man with a big gun who was presumably the passenger robber and a asian woman with short hair who may have been driving and two more who probably couldn’t be seen due to darkness and speed of assault and victim focus on big, big gun……
Sounds like a plausible scenario, Barb, at least from our past experience. We’ve asked for more info from the LEOs and will update when we get something…
