On Sunday, February 23, 2020, the Pleasanton Police Department responded to a residence in the Kottinger Ranch neighborhood to investigate a home invasion robbery. The robbery was reported several hours after it occurred, and the resident informed officers she was robbed at gunpoint inside her home.
At approximately 3:45 a.m., the resident awoke to the sound of broken glass from a rear sliding door. She was confronted by two suspects who brandished a handgun at her, demanded cash, and ransacked the interior of the home. The suspects were described as black males, between the ages of 18 to 25 years old, and dressed in dark clothing. The victim was uninjured.
During the investigation, detectives retrieved surveillance camera footage and discovered three suspects exiting the front door of the residence and carrying property from the home. The footage also shows an unknown make and color SUV driving in front of the residence and picking up all three suspects. The suspects and suspect vehicle are still outstanding.
