The arrival of Double Twenty was greeted with a sort of quiet restraint, as far as we can tell, though there were one or two ragers out there with some dedicated partying.
It’s quiet out there for the most part, we’ve been roaming around, “You Belong To The City” running on our own personal soundtrack for some reason as we travelled the 24/680 without encountering much traffic or trouble.
There was a chase in El Sobrante New Year’s Eve with sheriff’s deputies going after two people on the romantically named Appian Way, arresting them after a crash and some last-minute wind sprints. No injuries to report, thankfully.
What did you see? How did you celebrate the arrival of the New Year, if at all?
Where was the crash in El Sobrante?
Ended in the 900 block of Appian, James.
How does it look so far?
Pretty tame… some juvenile excess.
