An update to our earlier Flash and Facebook alerts from Concord PD:
Concord, CA – On Wednesday, November 13th just before 5p.m., Concord Police Department officers responded to a shooting on the 1800 block of Robin Lane. Officers found a 45-year-old man suffering from gun shot wounds to his upper body and began life saving measures until paramedics arrived. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he died.
Further investigation revealed the victim and suspect were in a verbal altercation just prior to the shooting, but it is unknown if they knew each other. After the argument, the victim was driving his vehicle on Robin Lane when the suspect shot at him from the sidewalk. The suspect and firearm used in the crime are still outstanding.
As this case is still under investigation, no further information is being released at this time.
