Assault On Power Grid Continues: Concession Truck Rams Transformer In San Ramon

There’s snakebit and then there’s us. Residents of the 24/680 are scratching their heads and mumbling “what’s next?” after our recent power meltdown, Internet loss, fires and other calamities.

Folks in the Dougherty Valley neighborhood of San Ramon had to be re-thinking things after a runaway concession truck rolled down the roadway and into a transformer – plunging the locals into darkness.

San Ramon PD sent out scouts to locate the problem and eventually pinned it down, but there was no word on whether the truck’s operator was offering Sno-Cones or Candy Apples at a discount.

PG&E is working the problem.
