Locals out shopping for their evening meal tell us the Danville Lunardi’s store is closed – apparently for a couple of days – while workers deal with an apparent rodent infestation.
Notice of the closure has been pinned to the front doors and people are at work inside but initial information is that the store will be closed for at least two days. Calls to the store were not returned.
that really threw a wrench into my plans for dinner
BBQ or ratatouille?
I saw a rat in their vegetable dept a few months ago.
O rats! There goes dinner…..
sorry to hear that people will be out of work for a while. or maybe they are doing more work to help with this eradication effort. lets hope so – I don’t like to see people lose jobs. we shop here and the people have always been very good to us.
Does anyone know if they’re open today? No one answering the phone
Yelling rat at a grocery store is like yelling shark at the beach. Hope they can clean things up.
Store is open and looks great!
Rodents go where the food is that is true. Hpe they are able to fix things up again
We’re going to wait a few days but we’ll be back!
They should put a promotional sign up: “recently rat free!”
