Who needs Mount Diablo with its lone road to the summit, long lift lines, and lack of apres ski scene when you have Rocky Peak right here at home?
Lamorindan Michael Marquardt waxed up the planks early this morning and was out scoping the local hills looking for a place to make a few fresh turns when he found Old Rocky topped with pow – and you can ski into the Saint Mary’s College cafeteria for cocoa and breakfast afterwards!
What is that – about 1100 ft???
Mebbe a skosh under 1,200ft?
Metric skosh or imperial?
Neither, Matt, we’re using the Santa Cruz Surf Shack System of Measurement…
Nice photo!
Dog refused to go for a walk this morning — thats when you know it’s cold out!!!
That’s awesome
BTW Rocky Ridge is just over 2,000 ft
Going with 2,000ft!
Sunny California.
The best thing about running when it’s this cold is the hot shower after!
