ORIGINAL STORY: Police in Moraga and Lafayette have closed off St. Mary’s Road at Camino Colorados after an earlier automotive crash brought a tree down across the roadway Monday.
Residents notified this site of a crash somewhere in the area around 6 a.m. but could not pinpoint the site due to darkness.
Police found a large tree down in the road and are believed to be talking with the driver of a pickup truck who reportedly struck it while navigating St. Mary’s Road.
The roadway is currently (6:55 a.m.) closed in both directions.
